Biometric Technology

Biometrics provides an effective technology to overcome the weaknesses associated with portable credentials (access cards), user names and passwords. Techniques include fingerprint, hand geometry, retina, iris recognition, facial recognition and speaker verification, which cannot be passed to unauthorised users.

Biometric technology is already being used for a range of government and business applications, health care, distance learning and computer networks.

Secure Innovations, in collaboration with the client, will determine the level of security required for the specific application (low, medium or high). Once established, the appropriate biometric technology platform can be designed and implemented.
